What is a Shower Enclosure?

Acting as separation between the wet and dry areas, a shower enclosure or cubicle, surrounds the shower area and generally comes in a framed or frameless style. A framed shower enclosure has a metal frame around the entire structure including the shower door, whereas a frameless enclosure design has glass panels without metal frames anywhere including the shower door.

Shower Enclosure Types

There are several types of shower enclosures available, all of which showcase high level craftsmanship with reassuringly durable and sturdy construction.

Walk-In Shower Enclosure

Best suited to larger spaces, walk-in shower enclosures are perfect for those who desire a more spacious shower experience. Featuring a shower tray with one or two glass panels, you can simply 'walk in' to the shower area instead of closing a shower door behind you like you would find in most shower enclosures.

Quadrant Shower Enclosure

Designed to fit neatly into a corner space of a bathroom or en-suite, quadrant shower enclosures feature a curved design using up less space than a rectangle shower enclosure or a square shower enclosure would use, while still offering plenty of showering space.

Offset Quadrant Shower Enclosure

Also available are offset quadrant shower enclosures while although very similar to the quadrant in that it also has a curved front but the offset nature features a larger amount of showering space and is available in left or right handed orientations.

Square Shower Enclosure

Perhaps the most common type of shower enclosure available. Square shower enclosures take up a minimal amount of space and are usually installed in the corner of a bathroom.

Rectangular Shower Enclosure

Offering more space than a square enclosure, the rectangular shape offers plenty of room to enjoy a showering experience. Rectangular shower enclosures most commonly are installed in the corner of a bathroom with one or two glass shower panels.
